I'm Dane, based just outside Durban, South Africa. I've been editing for 8+ years, and I work remotely with clients in Australia, the UK and the US as well as here at home.
I came into film through sound. I studied music production and sound engineering at the Academy of Sound Engineering in Johannesburg, which is why my edits tend to be driven by story and rhythm rather than effects. What matters is that the film feels right, from the first frame to the last.
I edit in Premiere Pro and grade in DaVinci Resolve. Audio and music are mixed and mastered in FL Studio, all on a Mac Studio.
